Michigan – Site of the 2018 NGS Family History Conference



The annual National Genealogical Society conference will beheld May 2 to 5, 2018 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The theme for this national conference is “Paths to Your Past”. During the four days, individuals will be able to share their own success research stories and learn from others, some 2,000 genealogists. Some 175 lectures will be provided from nationally recognized genealogical speakers covering topics to assist in locating about your ancestors’ ethnicity, occupation, religion, military experience, economic status, and associations. At the conference with be an exhibit hall with 80 exhibitors, with a strong presence of Michigan and Mid-West resources.

No matter whether you are a beginner in your family history research or a long-time researchers, there many new and exciting ideas and techniques to be learned and shared.
