Columbus (Ohio) Metropolitan Library with Digital Archives
For those doing research for the state of Ohio, the Columbus Metropolitan Library has a massive digital archives online. It includes photos, maps, documents and artifacts.
Categories include: Collections, Topics, Neighbors and by Decades. So if you knew the neighborhood of a town your ancestor came from, you might locate a map or photos. You can type in a neighborhood name or select from the drop down list of names for a neighborhood. Included can be about the local churches, businesses and buildings in that neighborhood. 
Using the Decades Category you might find an ancestor’s high school class picture or yearbook within a specific decade. All types of vintage photos are available covering people and places. 
<p align="JUSTIFY">Using the Topics category you can view the people, historic events, Civil War, transportation, daily life, and churches to name a few topics.
The majority of artifacts, documents and photos center on Columbus but there are also items from across Ohio and a few outside of Ohio.
With any ancestors who lived in Ohio during any period, this is a must to research and collection digital images.
