For the past 13 years, FamilySearch has been both the host of the RootsTech conference and one of it’s platinum sponsors. As the world’s largest genealogy conference — which now include a free online experience — RootsTech is a wonderful opportunity for anyone interested in discovering more about their family’s history and preserving precious memories.

FamilySearch International is a large nonprofit organization that stretches its free offerings far across the world. We offer 5,000+ local FamilySearch centers, a website that is translated into 40+ languages, and even virtual research consultations. FamilySearch products (offers at no cost) include the shared Family Tree, billions of historical records, photo and document preservation, and more.

During the 2024 conference, from February 29-March 2, we hope you are able to connect with the many genealogy organizations that, as a whole, bring RootsTech together. Read below for tips on how to find FamilySearch in particular at RootsTech and what to look forward to.
