FREE Databases on Ancestry.com

Everyone likes to get Free Anything and what is better than some of the Free databases available with Ancestry.com?

Review this listing of Free databases and you will be amazed. Scroll down, it starts with numbers and dates then goes in alphabetical order. Now some are indexes and others are full databases.

For example, if you had ancestors who lived in Beaver County, PA, two great free databases are: Beaver Co., Obituaries Records 1920-1969 and Beaver Co., Tax records 1832-1925. What a great spread of dates.

Note there are not just American databases but also other nations. There are Canadian Historical Postcards for 1893-1963. If you had ancestors from Canada you would want to check the locations with those postcards if a hometown is pictured. That is true also for Germany and Austria Historical Postcards covering 1893-1963.

Then there is Northern Michigan Newspaper Surname Index. Relatives from that area just might be listed. A great one to explore is US Women of the Century in 1882. There is such a write-up on each and you might have ever known that a female ancestor was part of this list.

Such a selection, so many, it will take a while to review just what is available.
