The Randolph County Public Library is located on Worth Street in Asheboro, North Carolina. Its mission is to provide for the informational and reading needs of the citizens at library sites, through remote access, through community outreach, and to patrons who are homebound or in care facilities.
The Randolph Room is located on the first floor of the Asheboro Public Library. It includes a collection of items fundamental to the study of genealogy and local history for Randolph County. It also has local history and genealogy resources for Piedmont County.
The collections are non-circulating because of the subjects, types, and materials it contains. However, patrons are welcome to visit and use materials in-house. Resources are available in print, microfilm, computer, CD-ROM, photographs, and more. Ancestry.com and Heritage Quest are available to patrons with internet access.
