Ohio Memory



ohio-clevelandThe state of Ohio, once part of the northwest territory, has a rich and long history. You could have had several ancestors who at one time lived in Ohio, so it is worthwhile to investigate the free online site, Ohio Memory.

Some of the items available on the site include photographs, manuscripts, letters, historical artifacts, videos, and newspapers. You can do a search using the search box at the top and select a specific topic such as photographs or search all the categories. There is an ‘advance’ search box to select from also to help narrow down a search.

ohio-schoolThere are many dates for the different categories, even more recent dates. Any image you find you are interested in can be downloaded to your computer.
