Organize Your Photos with MemoryWeb
It has been said that the best camera to use is the one you have at the moment. Today, that usually means the camera that is on your smartphone. Family historians and genealogists can quickly end up with tons of digital, unlabeled, family photos that need to be organized. MemoryWeb can help you with this task.
MemoryWeb is an app that can be downloaded from the App Store for free. (The app has some in-app purchases.) It is also possible to download the app from the MemoryWeb website. It is available for iPad, iPhone, Mac, and Windows.
MemoryWeb allows users to sync directly from sources. When you sync photos directly to MemoryWeb, it grabs as much information as each source allows to preserve the effort you’ve put into tagging and organizing them. In addition, MemoryWeb will attach smart tags for you that would otherwise be lost

Once your photos are in the app, you can edit tags or add new ones. This is especially good for people with scanned photos, which may have the wrong date and no other tags. Add tags to photos inside MemoryWeb, and those tags are automatically embedded as metadata when the photo is exported.
The MemoryWeb app is free to download. You can get a 14-day free trial to try it out. The free trial comes with 1 terabyte storage, original file resolution, and face recognition for 1,000 photos.
There are three other plans to choose from. Standard Resolution comes with 1 terabyte of storage, compressed resolution, standard display and print quality, and unlimited face recognition for $9.99 a year.
MemoryWeb users can download their photos from their MemoryWeb account. Those photos will be exported with all the tags that were added to them in MemoryWeb. To download your photos, you will need to have an uploader installed on your computer.
The Highest Resolution account costs either $14.99 every three months, or $49.99 for a year. It comes with 1 terabyte of storage, original file resolution, best display and archival quality, and unlimited face recognition.
Your account security and privacy are important to MemoryWeb. All data (including images and meta data) is transmitted over industry standard SSL/TLS and privately stored on state-of-the-art storage and compute systems. All MemoryWeb accounts are only accessible by secure communication channels between the authorized user and MemoryWeb systems.
