RootsTech Offers a Virtual Pass

RootsTech is excited to announce the RootsTech virtual pass! The main purpose of the virtual pass is to enable genealogists and family historians who cannot attend RootsTech in person to still be able to participate.

There are other large conferences that offer virtual passes, or virtual tickets, to people who wanted to go but were unable to attend in person. A virtual pass typically provides streamed content of some of the things that were presented at the conference.

FamilySearch says: “The virtual pass is perfect for any genealogist who is unable to travel to Salt Lake City and attend the conference in person.” It is possible to buy the virtual pass on its own. It is also possible for a person who is attending RootsTech to add the virtual pass on to their existing registration.

It is a good idea to check the RootsTech website to find out how much the virtual pass costs (either on its own or as an add-on). The price could vary from year to year.

The content that can be accessed via the virtual pass will almost certainly vary every year. Visit the RootsTech virtual pass website to find out what virtual pass classes are being offered for this year’s RootsTech.

One of the best things about the RootsTech virtual pass is it allows you to soak up knowledge and improve your family history skills at your own pace. You can watch a virtual pass session multiple times. It is possible to pause it or rewind it. You will have time to take notes to ensure you get the most out of it.

There is another virtual option for people who cannot attend RootsTech in person. Some of the show’s sessions will be streamed live for free at RootsTech.org. The keynote addresses will also be streamed live for free.
