From March 11-18, 2021, you’ll be able to do just that on MyHeritage for free! MyHeritage is opening all Irish records to the public for the entire week. Don’t miss your chance to delve into the historic records and find new information about your relatives!

As many as 100 million people all over the world are believed to have Irish ancestors. In the 2019 American Community Survey conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau, around 32 Americans identified as of being of Irish heritage – but the U.S. Census Bureau estimates that around 40 million Americans have some Irish ancestry.

That leaves around 8 million U.S. citizens who don’t know that they are from an Irish background! Perhaps making these records readily accessible will help more of them realize their connection to Ireland.
