Lisa Louise Cooke’s Genealogy Gems
Lisa Louise Cooke is the host of the Genealogy Gems podcast. You can find her genealogy related videos on the Lisa Louise Cooke’s Genealogy Gems YouTube channel. Her videos include episodes of her podcast, a “How to Use Google for Genealogy” series, interviews with genealogy experts, a series that will show you how to “Create Captivating Family History Videos”, and more.

BYU Family History Library
The BYU Family History Library YouTube channel has assorted training videos on many aspects of genealogy and family history for all interest levels. Some of the genealogy videos in this collection include tips for using FamilySearch, FindMyPast,, DAR applications, Google search engines and portals, and more.
The great thing about the videos on the YouTube channel is that anyone can view them. You do not have to have an membership to watch these videos. There is a series of AncestryDNA customer reviews, an Ancestry Desktop Education Series, Ancestry Academy videos, a Family History Expert series of videos, and videos about the 1940 U.S. Census.

The FamilySearch YouTube channel has over 100 videos. There are videos of the RootsTech 2016 Keynote Addresses, as well as other videos from the RootsTech 2016 convention. Other videos include a series about FamilySearch, a series about the Freedmen’s Bureau Project, a series about the 1940 Census, and a series of tutorials about FamilySearch Indexing.

The videos on the MyHeritage YouTube channel include some that are stories shared by people who discovered a relative they didn’t know about, or who reunited with a relative, thanks to MyHeritage. Other videos are about SuperSearch, Instant Discoveries, Tribal Quest, and more.

Megan Smolenyak
The Megan Smolenyak YouTube channel is run by Megan Smolenyak, a well known genealogist. You can find a variety of interesting videos that tell the family history stories of famous people and that discuss the family tree of famous people. Those people include Bruce Springsteen, Pharrell, Michelle Obama, and more.
